LEMON

Nexustrade GmbH specializes in exporting lemons, a citrus fruit renowned for its high vitamin C content (52 mg per 100 g), which remains stable over time. Freshly squeezed lemon juice retains a similar vitamin C concentration as the pulp (50 to 60 mg per 100 g), but due to exposure to air, the vitamin C in the juice oxidizes rapidly. For optimal freshness, it is recommended to use lemon juice promptly after squeezing.

In addition to vitamin C, lemons provide a range of B vitamins and some vitamin E (0.8 mg per 100 g). With a high water content of about 90%, lemons dissolve various nutrients essential for health. Several lemon varieties are cultivated, and our company offers lemons for export from December to June.
